Many people who get into home health care train on the job. Statistics show that these jobs will be in abundance for at least the next five years. You could also become a teacher or instructor in your chosen field. If you have extensive experience in a particular skill, why not teach it?

Their WorkSearch Assessment System provides seniors with job assistance in their community. This program also offers several services to help guide seniors to the best job for them. The other program is called the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) in which people 50 and older can get help strengthening their vocational skills, get training and find employment.

The survey found that it takes people over the age of fifty 20% longer to get hired as a Vice President than it does people between the ages of 41 and 45. If you keep your options open and don’t get discouraged; this does not have to cripple your chances of finding employment over fifty.
